Suffering From Headaches? We Have a Few Natural Solutions

Beat Anemia With Food – Best Allies In Battle With Anemia

The most common anemia is an iron deficiency anemia.
Beat Anemia With Food – Best Allies In Battle With AnemiaFrom the lack of iron suffers 20% of women, 50% of pregnant women and 3% of men.
People that suffer from this type of anemia feel tired, weak and irritated. And that is because the lack of iron leads to decrease a level of red blood cells, and your body can not produce enough hemoglobin, so the red blood cells can not carry oxygen through the bloodstream.
Anemia can, besides iron-deficiency, be caused by significant blood loss during trauma or surgery. A common cause of anemia among women of a reproductive stage is an excessive bleeding during their menstrual cycle.
Symptoms of anemia can occur in the form of reduced physical strength, weakened immunity and poorer ability to concentrate.
Every organism has some reserves of iron that is consumed. But when this storage is depleted, a manifestation of symptoms starts, and it is necessary to make up for lost.
And a diet rich in iron is certainly one of the main factors that can help you in the battle with anemia.

So here is the list of the foods that are the best allies in combat with anemia:

1. Red Meat, Fish and Poultry
anemia 1Darker meat contains a large amount of iron and liver is the primary warehouse and rich sources of this mineral. Especially beef and chicken liver.
Beef meat has the most iron, and behind it there is a lamb, then pork and at the end of the list is poultry. Turkey is also an excellent source of iron.
Seafood, especially oysters, clams, mollusks and mussels, are the richest source of iron.
Behind them on the list are sea fish, such as salmon, tuna, sardines and swordfish.

2. Beet
If you are anemic, eat beet as much as possible.anemia 2
This vegetable is rich in iron and helps in purifying the blood.
Beetroot also contains carotenoid and a high concentration of some vital nutrients such as manganese, copper and phosphorus.
It also contains a small amount of or calories which are ideal for people who are on a diet.

3. Spinach
Spinach is an excellent fighter against anemia as it contains as much as 25% of the required amount of iron on a daily basis.anemia 3
This green leaf vegetable is also a great source of vitamins from group B, C, A and K, and manganese, Mangan, etc.
In addition to spinach, a rich source of iron is another green vegetables and herbs, such as kale, broccoli, asparagus, nettles, etc.

4. Grains
Grains such as brown rice, oats, millet and wheat contain significant levels of iron.anemia 4 1
For example, if you eat cereals that contain whole grains for breakfast, you can provide 100% of the recommended daily value.
If you add a glass of orange juice within that type of meal, then you can expect a high level of iron absorption.

5. Pulses
Pulses, in addition to cereals, are one of the richest sources of iron.anemia 5
Beans, chickpeas and lentils provide between 4 and 7 mg of iron.
For example, boiled soybeans contain 9 mg of iron in one cup.
Soy products such as soy milk, veggie burger and tofu are also important sources of this mineral, especially in the diet of vegetarians.

6. Fruits
While most fruits do not contain sufficient amounts of iron, it helps its absorption which makes it a valuable addition to the diet.anemia 6
Dried fruits such as grapes, apricots and plums contain the most iron.
Fruits rich in vitamin C (oranges, strawberries, melon, grapefruit) increases the absorption of iron.
Walnuts also serve as an excellent source of iron, especially almonds and Brazil nuts.
Good sources are also blueberry and blackberry wine.
Bananas are especially recommended to the people that suffer from anemia because bananas contain significant amounts of iron that contribute hemoglobin formation in the blood, which helps fight anemia.

7. Herbs
If you suffer from anemia, choose to drink tea instead of coffee.anemia 7
Teas from anise, caraway, cumin, mint and nettle are the best choice since they increase iron absorption.
Also, when cooking try to use more parsley. You can also add fresh parsley into the salad.

5 Excellent Exercises For Knee Pain Relief

5 Excellent Exercises For Knee Pain Relief
Knee – a joint that carries a heavy load on a daily basis. And at every step, knees depreciate roughly three times of body weight.
Pain in joints usually indicates the beginning of arthrosis which is the loss of the cartilage of the knee. At every step, the knee depreciated roughly triple body weight, but after only 30 years of age, the cartilage gradually begins to be spent. Elastic tissue that protects the bones begins to disappear.
From knee pain mostly suffers athletes and overweight people. But unhealthy diet can also cause this issue. Especially if your diet is deficient in minerals and calcium.
Fortunately, it can be prevented, or at least postponed, with proper exercise and healthy diet.
6 Excellent exercises for knee pain relief:
  1. Exercise No 1
knee 1
Lay down on a flat and stable surface.
Bellow the knees put a pillow or a rolled towel to support them.
Bend one leg and keep the other straighten.
Lift the lower part of the straighten leg with the feet bent towards your body.
Hold in this position for 6 seconds with maximally tight thigh muscles.
The knee should constantly be in touch with a folded object below.
Repeat the exercise 10 times in one series. It is necessary to do three sets, with a break of 1 minute between sets.
Tha maximum load you can add onto your legs is 2 kg.
  1. Exercise No 2
knee 2
You can do the same exercise on the chair.
Sit on a stable surface (table or high chair), while your lower legs are relaxed and dangling over the edge of the chair.
Then straighten the leg at the knee and keep the end position 6 seconds.
You can use the load (“saddlebags”) up to 3 kg.
  1. Exercise No 3
knee 4

Then lift the bent leg in the air and keep it straighten.
And stay in that position fo 6 seconds.
You should do three series with ten repeats with both legs. Make 1-minute pause between the series.
In addition, if you have a lower back pain then do not lift your leg higher than 20 cm and keep the other leg bent at the knee.

  1. Exercise No 4
knee 3

Now, turn around and lay on your stomach.
Keep one leg on the floor and the other one lift in the air, 10-15 cm from the ground.
Do not lift your pelvis from the floor, just one leg.
Repeat this ten times in one series. Do three sets with each leg!

News of Ngige’s rumoured death shakes N’Assembly

A rumoured death of the Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige, shook the National Assembly on Thursday.

But investigations showed that the former Senator and former Governor of Anambra State, did not visit the National Assembly complex on Thursday.

Ngige is said to be in Zambia for an official assignment.

However, a around midday on Thursday, rumour spread in the National Assembly that Ngige had come to the House of Representatives to defend the 2016 budget of his ministry but collapsed in the process.

The minister, in a terse reaction, quickly dismissed the rumour of his death.

His Personal Assistant, Mr. Nwachukwu Ngige, relayed the minister’s Facebook post in which he dismissed the rumour.

He wrote, “Dear friends , please disregard the wicked tissue of lies, contained in an online publication about an unfortunate incident said to have taken place today (Thursday) at the National Assembly and in which I was said to have been involved.

“I am currently not in the country let alone being at the National Assembly. I have since Monday, February 15, 2016 been attending the 42nd Ordinary Session of the African Regional Labour Advisory Council, taking place in Zambia.

“The meeting ends tomorrow (today). Indeed, as the Vice-Chairman of today’s session, I had the privilege of moderating as well as giving the vote of thanks on behalf of other African countries.

“I thereafter presented a gift also on their behalf to the Vice-President of Zambia, Mrs. Inonge Wina.”

Findings showed that the actual incident involved an unidentified visitor to the National Assembly, who reportedly suddenly took ill.

The man was said to have been walking along the corridor on Level III of the House of Representatives New Wing when he suddenly took ill.

Some eyewitnesses, who declined to be named, said the victim, in a bid to maintain his balance, held on to the door knob of Rm. 315 along the corridor, where he eventually collapsed.

The room is the office of the Chairman, House Committee on Police Affairs, Mr. Haliru Jika.

However, the man was not Jika’s visitor.

The man was said to have hailed from Auchi in Edo State. He reportedly died in the process.

“We have no idea who he was. He was not breathing.

“Doctors from the National Assembly Clinic were called in to help but their efforts were fruitless.

“The victim was quickly taken away for possible resuscitation at the National Hospital, Abuja,” one of the eyewitnesses stated.

Tiwa Savage, Banky W, Praiz, Cobhams Asuquo, Stonebwoy set to put African music on world map

Nigeria’s foremost disc jockey had his patience tested by controversial singer, Terry G, when the singer slapped one of his apprentices at a comedy show tagged, D’Good, D’Bash and D’Ugly.
When the incident happened, the ‘cool’ DJ Jimmy Jatt simply asked his boy to close shop. In an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, the disc jockey said that Terry G had mended fences and there was no problem between them.
He said, “There was not really any problem between Terry G and I. It was just the DJ association that placed a ban on his music but the ban has now been lifted. From our side, the initial reaction was that we demanded for a public apology and he has done that. Terry G went further to come to my office to apologise to the DJ and myself. He also went as far as meeting with some members of the association and I think that is what convinced them to lift the ban. To err is human and to forgive is divine, so it was just fair for them to lift the ban against him.”
Recounting the experience, Jimmy Jatt said although he was at the show, he did not know that his boy received a slap till someone informed him.
“To be honest with you, I was on a table far from the stage. I thought he was exiting the stage, I did not know what transpired. It was someone that called my attention to the fact that he actually slapped the boy. When I heard, I got up and went to ask if my boy was slapped and he replied in an affirmative manner. I was shocked. I just told the boy to vacate the place. Luckily; there was a backup DJ, so he took over,” he said.
With over 25 years of his life dedicated to his job, the disc jockey said the incident would make Nigerian artistes have more respect for DJs.
The disc jockey said, “The incident has sent a strong signal that there is a vibrant DJ association. Some other things have happened in the past that people have done and they got away with them but that would not happen again because an action has to be taken. For anybody that would not want an army of DJs to come after them, it would be in your interest not to look down on any DJ either established or up and coming. I am glad where the industry is today even though we have not got to the promised land yet. “We have come a long way. This used to be a profession that people shunned but now parents are now proud to say that their children are disc jockeys. If you check the calibre of people coming in, it is enough to be proud about. There is still a lot to be done.”
He also told Saturday Beats that his fans should not be surprised if they noticed he has ventured into the make believe world.
“Never say never, I actually shot a movie about three years ago but I did not release it. If the urge returns, then I might release it. I did not release the movie due to some personal reasons. Who knows if I wake up tomorrow, I could delve into movies,” Jimmy Jatt said.

World powers urge ‘stability’ in Turkey

Obama Calls for all to support democratically elected government in Turkey
World leaders urged “respect for democratic institutions” in key NATO member and European neighbour Turkey as parts of the military launched a coup attempt late Friday against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that saw violence erupt in Istanbul.
The United States, Russia, NATO and the European Union appealed for stability, with US President Barack Obama calling on all parties in Turkey to back the “democratically-elected” government.
Detailing a call between Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, the White House said both agreed that “all parties in Turkey should support the democratically-elected government of Turkey, show restraint, and avoid any violence or bloodshed.”
UN chief Ban Ki-moon meanwhile lashed out against the attempted coup, as he called for civilian rule to be maintained.
Military interference in the affairs of any state is unacceptable,” Ban said in a statement.
EU chiefs Donald Tusk and Jean-Claude Juncker backed Erdogan’s government and urged a “swift return” to normal.
“Turkey is a key partner for the European Union. The EU fully supports the democratically elected government, the institutions of the country and the rule of law,” they said in a joint statement with EU foreign policy head Federica Mogherini.
“We call for a swift return to Turkey’s constitutional order.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow was “deeply concerned” about the situation, with President Vladimir Putin being kept up to date by the foreign ministry and intelligence services.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had earlier called on Turkey to avoid all “bloodshed” and insisted that the problems in the country be resolved “in accordance with the constitution.”
Turkey will now likely dominate an EU foreign ministers’ meeting on Monday which will also be attended by Kerry.
Ankara in March signed a controversial deal with the European Union aimed at stemming migration to the continent, and has recently mended ties with Russia after a major diplomatic crisis.
NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg called for “calm and restraint, and full respect for Turkey’s democratic institutions and its constitution,” adding that the country was “a valued NATO ally”.
Obama, like other Western leaders, has repeatedly expressed concern about authoritarian steps taken by Erdogan’s government.
But the country is a key NATO ally and part of the coalition fighting IS in neighbouring Syria and Iraq. The US has military assets at Incirlik Air Base, carrying out strikes against the jihadists.

– ‘No impact’ on anti-IS strikes –

The ongoing coup attempt is not affecting operations targeting IS, and American forces will continue flying missions from a key airbase there, a US defence official said Friday.
The situation “has no impact on counter-ISIL operations from Incirlik Air Base in Turkey,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity, and using another name for IS.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton urged “calm and respect for laws, institutions, and basic human rights and freedoms” in the country.
The French Foreign Ministry meanwhile called for “the avoidance of violence and respect for democratic order,” in an appeal echoed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“Support to the elected (Turkish) government,” a spokesman for Merkel said. “Everything must be done to protect human lives.”
German-Turkish relations have come under increasing strain in recent months, with Berlin criticising Ankara’s tough line against dissenting journalists and the country’s Kurdish minority.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also said his country, which neighbours Turkey, was monitoring the situation with “great concern”.
“Stability, democracy and the security of the Turks are the priority,” Zarif said, according to the Iranian government website, as he stressed “the need to preserve unity” in the country.
Iran and Turkey have been at loggerheads in regional conflicts including Syria, where they back opposing sides in the five-year civil war.
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, whose nation also neighbours Turkey, has meanwhile expressed his “support for the democratically elected” government following the attempted coup, a government source said early Saturday.
Tsipras’ diplomatic advisor sent the “message of support for democracy in Turkey” to his counterpart in the crisis-hit nation, the source said.
The two leaders were set to speak by telephone later Saturday.
Television pictures showed tanks deployed outside Ataturk airport in Istanbul. Reports said that flights into the airport had been halted.
Greece’s Aegean Airlines confirmed it had cancelled Saturday’s flights to Istanbul and the coastal city of Izmir.
German carrier Lufthansa said it had delayed its flights to Turkey “for up to 12 hours”.
