LASPOTECH Student Attempts Suicide After The Theft Of School Fees

A Lagos State Polytechnic, LASPOTECH student attempts suicide after the theft of his school fees. The victim Mr Olaniyan Babatunde an ND 2 students of the Department of Accountancy had a close shave with death as his attempt suicide act was quickly foiled as he was rushed to the hospital after drinking a bottle of popular insecticide  GO 90 after discovering his school fees was stolen while going to school.

Mr Olaniyan Babatunde ND 2 Accountancy student attempted suicide after his school fees was stolen.

It has always been a life of struggle for Olaniyan, most especially when his father was alleged accused for bribe taken and hence was verbally suspended the same year Olaniyan was born causing things to go from bad to worse for the family.

After doing odd jobs to raise funds for his school fees of N45,000 which was then  stolen in the public transport he entered by a pickpocket causing depression in his heart, leading to attempting suicide. On that fateful day he bought the GO 90 insecticide then wrote a heart-felt note to his parents then drank the entire bottle, he suddendly developed stomach pain, then his housemates rushed in and took him to the to Omoju hospital in Baruwa area of Ipaja, Lagos, where he was revived.

Friends and family members promised to raise the more that was lost, while he was recuperating in the hospital.
